We will begin with a very simple exercise. Today the Year 1 and Year 2 children will learn to open, edit, save and upload a Microsoft Word Document.
Here is the plan:
1. Click here to open this file. Save it to a folder on the Public drive. Mr. Kohll will show you how.
2. Open it. Write your name in it.
3. Close it and save it.
4. If you are working in pairs, do this one at a time, and then repeat. Each child must have one document.
4. Click here to play educational games for ICT. Make sure you choose games for Year 1 or Year 2. 5. While you are working on these learning games you will, one at a time, come to work with Mr. Kohll. He will show you how to upload your file.
6. When you go home, your parents can see the work you did.
