3.30 - 3.45: First, we will do some practicing for World Maths Day. Go to the website www.worldmathsday.com and log in to practice.

3.45 - 4.00: Second, we will practice some money maths. Go to www.funtosave.org and play. See how much money you can make!

Then I want you to answer this poll saying which game you like more.
Finally, write a comment saying how much money you made on Fun To Save.

  • ESL class: I played a maths game called Tutpup.
  • Year 1: I played three games. Tutpup was fun. I answered maths questions.
  • Year 2: I played three games. The first was Tutpup. I answered lots of questions. The second game was a story I read. It was called Cinderella. The third game was about materials. 

When you have finished your comment, ask Mr. Kohll to look at it. If it's ready, publish it, then play Chinese New Year Games.

This week, what we're going to do is:
1. 3.30 - 3.45:
Practice finding letters on a keyboard to make writing easier. First play KEYBOARD GAME.  Then, if you can do that easily, practice your typing with the DESERT TYPING RACER (set it to beginner, and try Game 1).


2. 3.45 - 4.00:
Write a comment. Click on "add a comment" and write something:
ESL class copy:
I am learning to write on a computer.

Year 1 copy:
"On the weekend I..." and finish the sentence. Make it a full sentence! If you can do that easily, write a second sentence.

Year 2:
Write three or more sentences telling us what you did on the weekend.


Remember!
Use the spacebar between each word.
Use capital letters and full stops.
Ask for help if you have trouble spelling a word.

When you've finished and posted your comment, you can choose a Maths game from the Y1 website to play.


3. 4.00 - 4.10: We're going to look at your work, and then you can play this game to practice making your sentences longer and more interesting.
